Thanks for the responses.

I also agree that doctors should do more thorough testing, but that's just wishful thinking on our part.

There is so much more that goes factors into why they don't. The politics of insurance is absurd, and all we can do is stay informed and never, ever, ever back down to their ever increasing, self-fulfilling prophecy.

I'll tell you one thing most doctors hate is when you come prepared, especially if you bring studies with you. Talk about some major ego-deflation. You might as well bring a pin to pop that hot air of egotism.
