Are you drinking orange juice in the morning when you take the Dexedrine Spansules? OJ or anything acidic will decrease the effectiveness of Dexedrine. You might want to also avoid taking any vitamins or supplements with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) at the same time. Would be better to take vitamins at night.
Here's what I could find about spansules: Each SPANSULE sustained-release capsule is so prepared that an initial dose is released promptly and the remaining medication is released gradually over a prolonged period. Following administration of one 15-mg sustained-release capsule, maximal dextroamphetamine plasma concentrations were obtained approximately 8 hours after dosing. (in contrast to 3hrs for regular dexedrine tablets)
