Well the one study's explanation included abotu everything i know about creatine for depression. I can't speak personally i have been taking creatine since before i was depressed. It is dirt cheap and something that normalizes a paramater; i think every addition like that to make it more likely that we recover is good, and have no side effects. I think it also has been used for parkinsons, and it improved executive function in the sleep-deprived, so i definatly think is has psychiatric effects. My guess is that it helps, but less than the average antidepressant.
