Cymbalta + exercise: tiredness and lowered ability

Posted by kb76 on September 22, 2008, at 11:16:12

Sorry if this is a double-post ... I'm new here.

Does anyone have any negative experiences when exercising on Cymbalta? I've been a competitive runner in the past, and for the past 2 years, have been rehabbing from injuries. I've been on Cymbalta for 3. Ran my last marathon 4 years ago, so never trained while on Cymbalta. I'm currently training for a charity marathon in honor of my father who passed in July 2008. This time, I sweat excessively, get dehydrated more easily, and endure an overwhelming feeling of exhaustion even while running shorter distances. I know I'm in much better shape than my performances reflect.

Just wondering what others have experienced with exercise and if I should consider enduring the withdrawal to help my training.

Thanks!
