Pdoc says Cymbalta plus taper Zoloft?

Hi,
My pdoc has started me on 30 mg Cymbalta while tapering Zoloft down from 250 mg. So this week I'm taking 30 mg Cymbalta and 200 mg Zoloft, and next week I'll be taking 60 mg Cymbalta and 150 mg Zoloft, and then going down on the Zoloft 50 mg every subsequent week. Should I be concerned about serotonin syndrome in the initial weeks?
I know technically you're not supposed to mix these meds, but I trust my pdoc and I'm wondering if this is something that is done regularly when switching from an SSRI to an SNRI.
