Sorry I forgot about this post SLS.
I think the alpha1 blocking properties are important along with very strong antihistamine.
The abstract i posted was to show seroquel is not particularly useful for serotonin blockade which increases slow wave sleep. I don't think seroquel is helpful for this, i think it increases stage 2 instead. I think it is like benzos. THey can knock you out and you think you get good sleep, but not actually improved sleep.
