I have always found it easy to go off anti-depressants. With very little if any withdraw. I just quit, cold turky, celexa after 7 years of taking it. I didn't even notice it was gone untill a week later. Very minor withdraw, so I took a pill to see if that made a difference. The withdraw went away after that. I haven't taken any since and no withdraw. Mind you that I have swithed to anouther SSRI durring all this.
In the past I would take prozac for a little while at a time and just quit it because I didn't think it was doing any thing. No withdraws. I did also take Remeron for a few weeks or so. It did the same thing to me, I ate, and slept. So just quit that too with no withdraw. I was at a high dose of it too. 45mg.
