If you are doing fairly ok with your supplements, maybe not mess it up with meds? I can see your reluctance with meds. I am that way. And in your shoes I would be even more so.
I don't know what your supplements are. Is 5htp one of them? Basically high levels of serotonin calm down OCD. Also high levels of GABA. So anything to boost serotonin and/or gaba levels might be helpful? 5htp for serotonin, valerian for gaba. Niacinimide (not niacin) in large doses could also be part of the mix.
If you absolutely felt you had to do a med for OCD, perhaps go back to the old original standard for that...Luvox. Forget all the new me-too's. Just a thought.
And if supplements are working fairly ok, you might try attacking the OCD from a psychological stance rather than a biological stance, and seek some specialized counseling/therapy aimed specifically at OCD.
What supplements are you taking? I want some of them. :=)
