Lamictal has JUST come out in generic form, only within the last month. You may want to check with your insurance company again, because they may be willing to pay for it now that it's so much cheaper.I have been on the Teva generic lamotrigine (200mg/day) for 2 weeks now and I can't tell any difference from the brand name. I took the brand name Lamictal for over 10 years, I believe.
Good luck! =)
