how safe are stimulents [adderall etc] on nardil?

I know they're contraindicted but a lot of people seem to take them

do you reduce your dose?

even before I was on an maoi if I took adderall my heart raced a little bit. I've heard that if you DO take them together you're supposed to stop with symptoms like that. what would that mean for me?
