Re the body aches, I understand Cymbalta is prescribed for certain types of nerve pain, so it would make sense if there were a rebound ache effect. I wonder if Neurontin (Gabapentin) would help -- it is also prescribed for some types of nerve pain, & I found it helped even with sciatica. And it's very different chemically from an SNRI, so it shouldn't interfere with the tapering. Might even have a small antidepressant effect.
