I have read many times that SSRIs are helpful for ADD, but from my personal experience, they are useless. Not sure if they make it worse. Probably.

Perhaps Phenytoin is an exception. At least for some people. Have you ever tried it?

Provigil IS a stimulant. Just pharmacologically different from Amphetamine and Methylphenidate.

As to what else makes ADD worse. I don't know. I think anticholinergics, benzodiazepines, antihistamines and other sedatives.
