Hi Gary, Rozerem certainly has advantages over other prescription sedatives / hypnotics. Rozerem is not a controlled-substance and it has no potential for abuse. It can be safely taken long-term without causing dependence, memory loss or hangover.
I gave this medication a good trial run some time ago, unfortunately, without success. Lunesta, Ambien and Restoril work very well for my sleep problem. Currently, I take Ambien 10mg.
Hopefully, others can post positive success stories for you.
