I'm up to 125mg/day of Lamictal, and I don't see any cognitive or memory loss. I have a bit, especially recalling names, but I put that down to age rather than drugs. At any rate, I haven't noticed it getting worse on Lamictal.

I'll post if it gets worse, since I think I'm headed for 200mg/day.
