> This is true, there is very little research on any of these medications with regards to Pregnancy and Breastfeeding... Want to know why, look no further then those that profit the most from these meds... However I'm not one of those people that complain about big company profits, it just seems unbelieveable that there isn't much on these drugs, and the companies website says talk to your doctore, so they pass it off to the docs. Our doctor said they feel that the Lexaprol would be safe but were uncertain about the welbutrin, I think if we stay on the meds it'll be the lexaprol, but the idea that our child would have any kind of withdraw just because we didn't want to work through nine months of possible issues, seems wrong. So Thank you for the follow up and keep any good info coming...
Did you look at Lar's work? Also, part of the problem with doing research on this is that you cannot ethically put a pregnant female into a research study giving her psychotropic drugs as the experimental group. So you cannot have randomized assignment to groups. You can only utilize practical assignment, and that adds junk to the conclusions. So the research is not done as much as needed to really get some answers.
