I think you'll be fine Deneb. If you wake up tomorrow and feel you can manage without it, don't take it. If you feel you need it, take it and tell him when you get there. It is not uncommon for dentists to prescribe anti-anxiety meds for patients before procedures. Just make sure you tell him if you do take it.
