I believe you are curable. I have faith in that. I have seen it a number of times when absolutely hopeless cases turned around on a dime when the right approach was tried. In all of those cases, the approach ended up being something that had not previously been considered as being relevant to the situation.
While the diagnosis book is helpful sometimes, it is also hurtful sometimes by limiting you to a set of drugs intended for a particular cluster of symptoms. I prefer what they call functional medicine, which is treating the person and not a set of textbook symptoms.
I said it before and I still believe, opinion, the doctors are too limited in your treatment. I've seen other people with your kind of symptoms respond to weird things like lithium, magnesium for pete's sake, klonopin, xanax, memantine, and others...but not to antipsychotics...actually they got worse on antipsychotics. Go figure. I don't try to figure it out. All I know is that logic says when the logical stuff doesn't work, there is no clearer clue in the world that the answer lies somewhere else.
Broader visions, more creativity, and more intuition is what some doctors need. Their textbooks keep them too limited and keep people like you stuck.
You will vastly improve when you try the right med or supplement. It would not surprise me if it is something you and your doctors never even thought of, even though you have both heard of it a zillion times but just never thought it would fit your case.
All this does not mean I have given up hope on clozapine. Another two weeks though, yeah.
