Lithium + Muscle Spasms

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if lithium can cause muscle spasms? If so, what can be done to eliminate them without stopping the lithium?

When I increase the dosage to 600-900 mg, I have very painful muscle spasms in my lower legs and feet.
