I have taken adderall for years, not for weight loss but for ADD. I am unsure why you would be concerned about gaining weight after stopping.
Yes, adderall has a stimulant affect but 10mg is a very small dose. The appetite suppressant effects on that low of a dose would decrease pretty rapidly. I imagine some thermogenics could compare to a 10mg dose of adderall. I am fortunate my doctor writes me 3 post dated scripts at a time. This makes the burden of going to his office once a month. I have taken as much as 60mg a day but am now down to 30mg a day.
