Cymbalta will be a witch of a drug to go off cold turkey, Tunguska. It is far easier on your systems to taper to withdraw than to go cold turkey. You were wise to use the samples to have to alleviate your withdrawal effects. I can sympathize. I used cymbalta for almost a year and getting off it was the hardest thing I did. I believe it is de-toxing although my gp did not agree. My neuro, whom I did not go to until well into my withdrawal told me it was withdrawal for your brain and sent it into shock. She told me, my taper plan was a good one she would have add more to it-- however I did fine.

Good luck with it. It can vary from person to person the severity of the withdrawal symptoms.
