most ssri's assist with some pain and some are used for certain types of pain management. Just a thought.
I had forgotten how bad my back, neck and shoulders were until I stopped taking ssri's. It's the only thing I can contribute it to, by process of elimination. I thought it had just come good again, but I have tried almost every ssri and it wasn't until recently that I realised that my back was fairly OK while I was on them and became sore again when I came off them. Same went for back spams when coming off Valium which was no great surprise.
