First, here's a big smile for you. :) I bet you and I and our two monkey-brains (ADHD) could have a lot of laughs if ever met. :)

> But do you know what my mother will do in response to this? many things, she has made threats that she will throw me off her insurance. It could just be a bluff, if she does, thats one mother that has control issues with anger issues.

I remember, and I can see how that would be really intimidating or maybe helpless feeling. But let's problem-solve for a moment...Could you call your insurance company and ask them what the criteria are for staying on your mother's insurance while you are in school? Maybe if she won't pay for you to have it if she reacts that way, you could pay for your portion of it yourself. I don't know, but maybe that's an arrangement that could be made with the insurance co. to take it out of your mother's hands. (shrugs)

And if you practice a few calm, just the facts, ma'am type statements about this, then when your mother flies off, you're "armed with" something to help you cope with that. Just calmly repeat your "mantra" about how this is what's best for you, it's time you started taking more responsibility for your health, etc.

Okay, then you have to prevent her from getting the prescription. I don't know what the best way of this is, but I'd think that you'd almost have to get a locked place to put it. But I'm sure you can figure it out. And as long as you are following your doctor's orders and being responsible about your health, I would think she'd be glad. But I'm guessing that she still might fly off the handle. ((((((fan)))))))

You're welcome. Take care.
