I spoke with my psychologist (not psychiatrist) yesterday on this topic. I didn't address with the him the possibility of a long-term detrimental effect of caffeine on Nardil (I'll deal with that if I have to), but rather the potential crash and/or jitteriness later in the day when I drink caffeine.

What I decided here was that it's very important for me to start the day in a good mood b/c my mood in the morning will likely carry through the day. I'd rather have coffee in the morning and get that uplift to the start of my day and deal with a bit of a crash later than start my day in a negative mood (as occasionally happens w/o coffee) and have that mood continue into my day.

Did that make any sense?
