I would agree with Wellbutrin -- however it can alter sleep patterns with patients with anxiety disorders and make sleep rather difficult.

SSRIs aren't necessarily dulling although they can cause word finding issues -- the more activating ones like Prozac would probably be a choice on that nature as far as sedation

Mood additives especially Lamictal can be a good antidepressant in combination with other therapy and I don't believe it is particularly dulling.
