Hi folks...
Well, I hate talking or writing about things in advance, or as they are going on, because I feel like I will jinx myself. But, I have gone off my Prozac. (Have Clonazepam for backup.) This time it is TRUE. I did it properly, and don't feel much different. It's only been less then a week, though, and I know Prozac has a long half-life. From my research, for the weight to come off, I will have to wait about 10-11 weeks. Anybody confirm this? Also, my libido is still blahhhh! It's like I have antithesis there! I wonder if that will take 10-11 weeks too? :( I just wanna be somewhat skinnier and horny..;-) lol. Seriously!! So, I've started some Ginseng, since my doc said my prolactin level was a bit high, and Ginseng is supposed to help with that, lowering prolactin. My doc gave me testosterone injections, but they do sweet crap! I want to get the Androgel, but the doc screwed up my last script, and decided to cancel it! I was thinking...yes....I would love to have that Androgel and just squish around naked in it in the bathtub..hah. (Sorry...disgusting picture...please disregard.) Mentally, I am honestly doing pretty good. In fact I am less irritable and get less 'manic' then when I was on the Prozac. I also use 5htp once-in-awhile if I need a real boost. So, any suggestions? Do you think some major exercise, now with some of the Prozac out of my body, will help kick start my male hormones and dopamine again? I am down about 3 pounds....not much...but I am clinging to that!!
