I can't find any evidence for a possible interaction between either of the active ingredients in your friend's Dyazide and Emsam. That said, Emsam is known to put subjects at risk of orthostatic or postural hypotension (i.e. low blood pressure/dizziness on arising from reclining or sitting). There would therefore be a possibility for additive or even synergistic (greater than additive) effects of the group of meds on blood pressure. So, a little caution when standing up would be in order, along with perhaps a little greater than normal surveillance of blood pressure readings.

P.S. I'm only too happy to contribute the results of my own research, and interpretations therefrom, but I'm a bit distressed that doctors can't do much the same thing for themselves.
