I went to the doctor and had blood work done. Normal blood cell counts, liver, kidney and thyroid function. A chest x-ray showed "an aspect of bronchitis", yet I am not showing any signs of any disease and the doctor said it's nothing and not to worry.
I reduced my dose of Stablon (tianeptine) rather quickly from 4 tablets a day, then each week I reduced the dosage by 1 tablet/day. At the present I am on only 1 tablet/day.
I noticed congestion forming in my lower right lung which was odd, yet I felt healthy. Asthma symptoms were also increasing. My brain is in a total fog.
My libido has increased (strange!) since lowering the dose but otherwise I feel worse now in terms of breathing.
I was cleaning green and black mold out of my house 1 week ago as it was taking over my house, but the doctor said if there was a fungal infection, then my leukocytes would have been elevated and they were normal. Hmm.
Not sure if this belongs in "withdrawal" or "psychobabble". Hard for me to concentrate on anything right now. Take care everyone. :-(Paul
Antidepressant withdrawal sucks...if that is what
