I lived this way for 27 years and am amazed at how functional I was. I was in graduate school before I took my first prozac pill.

Feeling lack of joy and motivation is my sign that things are going to go downhill..

I was scared to death to try Nardil..but I'm sure glad I did..it gave me my energy back and the ability to socialize again..the dietary restrictions aren't that bad..in fact it makes you stay away from all the packaged foods which have so many additives in them..if you are a real cheese lover, you're gonna miss that..

It took about 4 weeks for me at 45 mg (which I'm still at) to start really feeling the difference..and what a difference! Energy and motivation back and depression gone.

No stomach problems unless I eat something too close to bed, then I'll get heartburn..and unfortunately it can make you quite gassy..I've had no problems with hypotension unlike Parnate..I have some balance problems but I can handle physical symptoms way more than the apathy and anxiety some of the SSRI's gave me..I just say sorry a lot to people I bump with my purse!

I've been on all the SSRI's and SNRi's, some tricyclids, and I give Nardil the best rating of them all..

If you feel yourself going downwards, I would give Nardil a try..hopefully it will work for you as well as it has for me and others on this site..
