Just know that propranolol has the ability to produce depression. With this knowledge, you should be able to screen yourself for such a reaction.
People here have used propranolol for episodes of anticipatory anxiety and tremulousness. I don't think I ever saw anyone complain of an acute depressive reaction to it.
