Actually, looking at the website again, it talks only about people with low folate levels being more likely to be depressed. It never even mentions the possibility of people with normal folate levels needing this drug or being unable to metabolize folate. Do you know why your doctor thinks it will help? Seems like if there were research on people who can't metabolize folate but still have normal levels the website would have mentioned it. Cecilia
