Yes there must be some literature on this, as it it common knowledge amonst therapists. The only link on hand I could find is this one:

And I also speak from personal experience. The weight gain stopped when I started ranitidine. I can't remember the exact dose, but I think it was 2 tablets before each meal.
If it will stop MAO-weight gain?? No idea!
