My experience with Gapapentin high dose (my experience only):

Pros:
Pro-Social
Anti-Anxiety
Anti-Depressant
Helps with sleep

Cons
Anti-Sex
Anti-Motivation
Anti-Cognition
Tough to quit.

Just my 2 cents. Everyone responds dfferently.
