Dependent on time. After the drug has been split in two, the 2nd part begins to oxidize (degrade).
Now, if you took that 2nd part 5 mins after the first part, you won't see much difference at all! However you take it 12+ hours later you will. As the time inceases the oxidation increases....a direct relationship.
Someone may have stated this in another thread, I'm not sure.
Generally better NOT to cut in half.
