I quit Wellbutrin after three days because it made me feel like the room was literally spinning even when my eyes were open and I could not turn my head without feeling like I was going to pass out. Walking was not fun because I looked like I was drunk, and the splitting headache made me quit. I also had leg pains at the same time that may or may not have been related (I've had them since so I tend to think it might be a transient vitamin deficiency). I called my doc, described my symptoms, and she said she had never heard of the med causing those symptoms but to try stopping it and see if they went away. They did, so I never resumed taking it.

I went on to find that Effexor XR 150 mg works extraordinarily well for me. I had no side effects when I started it, although it took a full twelve weeks to start working for me. But once it did, I feel great. I am also on a nontherapeutic dose of Lamictal (50 mg, it's a long story why), which my pdoc and I will probably get me off of in the next few months.

And I think you know you aren't the only one who has ever quit a med because of side effects. You're on this forum enough to know better.
