Good question, and I'm not sure if I know the answer, but aren't they both MAO inhibitors? If a washout is needed at all, it would be fairly short? The only thing I can think of is that selegiline is metabolized into some sort of amphetamine which might react with Nardil. This is one for a psychiatrist to answer...

> I am planning on trying Emsam, and was wondering if I took it (and decided to go off), could I immediate go off it to try Nardil, or is there that same 14 day waiting period? Since it is the same class, could I just switch from one to the other?
