I tried both Ixel and Cymbalta.Cymbalta is much closer to an SSRI. Ixel is a more potent noradrenergic than serotenergic.I felt more alert when I took 50mg b.i.d.
Main side effects were were a burning feeling when urinating and irritability, which turned into agreesive talk..etc. and led me to stop.
Ixel is much closer to a clean noradrenergic AD than a real mix e.g. Effexor. Ixel was close to desipramine and reboxetine.
