Hi
There are serveral generic versions of paroxetine on the market. I have just been re-prescribed it after 9 months on fluoxetine and managed to get my GP to prescribe as Seroxat as I have noticed a change in variability between manufacturers and even batches made by the same manufacturer. As you will know with paroxetine as it has such a short half life this can make quite a difference.
As one manufacturer who shall remain nameless has decided to make generic paroxetine tablets in the the shape of a diamond with a score down the middle, then at either side of the score, both top and bottom it is shaped like a pyrimad, i do wonder if the designer had a rather bizarre sense of humour or had no intention of ever taking those things him or herself.
