Seroquel has a half life of 6 hours, but there's no real "quick fix" or "magic bullet" for psychosis. It takes time for any AP to build up in the blood but that's what I'd recommend for short half life.Otherwise, if your fighting short manic episodes you've pretty much mentioned it.
Dissociative episodes come and go for some people and its a question of living with it or increasing the AP I think in the end.
