Clozapine and sertindole have low incidence of extrapyramidal symptoms; also, Seroquel has placebo levels of EPS. Clozapine is THE most effective neuroleptic for negative schizophrenia, going as far as reversing PCP- & ketamine-induced psychosis, which most neuroleptics have no effect on.
There's two non-neuroleptics that can be used to treat schizophrenia, tetrabenazine & reserpine. Unlike neuroleptics, they can also be used to TREAT tardive dyskinesia and tardive dystonia. I think they're orphan drugs in the US, so you might have a hard time getting them.
