Seroquel for Bipolar Depression?

Posted by Falstaff on October 20, 2007, at 9:23:12

I've taken Seroquel for anxiety and to help me sleep for about six months. It's been a real help in situations like mixed episodes but it makes me tired and I have a lot of trouble with fatigue.

BUT, I have been reading that at higher doses, the sedation goes away and that it is actually helpful for Bipolar depression. Does anyone have any experience with this? I've taken 300mg at night the last two nights (was taking 100) and I think I feel a bit better (knock on wood). I feel a bit drugged but I'm guessing that probably goes away.

Thanks.
