From this "Wrongdiagnosis" site, there are many
tests (CT scan, metabolic, MRI, hepatic, etc.
etc.). This may be part of the problem. But
with the cooperation of the patient, the doctor
may be able to pick on those that are most
informative and exclusive. If those tests, show
nothing, and it's the withdrawal, then you can
count on that and life changes and circumstances.
And move on from there (good luck).

I think that would be satisfactory.
