iforgotmypassword... when you describe your symptoms I can only conclude GAD but when you mention your living situation it seems to go beyond that.
I think you're on the right track... maybe lamictal and some antipsychotic could help to stabilize you.
If you have difficulties persuing in life, establishing meaningful relationships you should look in to possible diagnosis like borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder or schizoaffective disorder. All of these disorders could benefit from lamictal,lithium and antipsychotics.
The most important to get the right treatment is to get a correct diagnosis. Make sure to see your doctor and describe your situation and your problems.
