Hi Mishal,

I started out at 100mg in the morning, and I also had the afternoon "crash", although it just made me very sleepy, I did not get depressed.

Doc changed dose to 100mg morning and 100mg afternoon, and that was too much... I felt overly stimulated.... shaky and nervous.

I now take 50mg morning and 50mg afternoon, and it is working very well for me... steady help with energy and focus. I read here at PB that this med is supposed to work "in the background". I understood that to mean that I should not have that amphetamine like feeling of "raciness".

Maybe you could try splitting up your 200mg into two doses, or it could be that you will need 200mg twice a day. I believe that is well within the dosage guidelines.

I take Provigil as augmentation of EMSAM. Are you on just Provigil?

Best of luck,

Janet
