question about adequate dosage of anti-depressants

Posted by nickguy on September 11, 2007, at 13:10:53

Everybody says 4-6 weeks, or maybe longer ,maybe shorter. But my question is does this mean 4-6 weeks at the right dosage? For ex: If somebody was on 30 mgs of a drug for 3 weeks, then went to 60 mgs for the next 3 weeks...is that a fair trial of the AD? or is a fair trial 4-6 weeks at the 60 mg?
