Yes, but indirectly. It was given to me for restless leg syndrome and after I got over the first 2-3 weeks of nausea and the occasional vommy. People kept commenting on how well I looked. I was getting out of the house more and doing more social things in general. I am also an alcoholic and I seriously don't think I could have faced that without ropinirole, as in attending meetings and speaking infront of people because I'm no good with big groups of people, and speaking at AA just never would have been possible AT ALL. It's also great for sexual dysfunction associated with ssri's. It seems to negate them somehow. I don't take it anymore, I was switched to clonazepam for anxiety and RLS. If you do take it though, start on the lowest dose possible and tirate up, otherwise you will be driving the porcelin bus BIG TIME.
