Kneeko,
I had a similar hypomanic experience when I started Nardil about ten years ago. I think it is quite common and for me it felt really good after being depressed for so long and trying so many different drug combinations. I didn't take anything for it and the hypomanic feeling soon went away.I'm sure you didn't mean to suggest augmentation of Nardil with the SSRI's. This, of course, could lead to the long dirt nap from serotonin syndrome. Maybe a mild stimulant such as modofinal(Provigil) might help. I have used nortriptyline at 100mg with Nardil at 90mg in the past. It really didn't seem to do much for me. Maybe a higher dosage of notriptyline would help for me since I seem to be a rapid tricyclic metabolizer. The 100mg of notrip did not get me close to the therapeutic window for the mediation.
How does the lithium seem to be working for you? It is on my short list of augmentors to try with Nardil.
I've never used Mirapex but have studied it as an augmentor of Nardil. If your dopamine is in short supply, this med might just help.
Take care,
Jedi> Thankyou, Jedi. I did have a manic episode about 18 months ago on Nardil, at which time I was placed on Zyprexa for the last 18 months, it doesn't seem to really do that much.
