> in low doses, zyprexa, like other antipsychotic agents, acts more as a tranquilizer than as an antipsychotic per se; its more mild apathy, reduced anxiety, etc. than chemical strait jacket. With the wellbutrin, you can counter some of the sedation; keep in mind, though, that the wellbutrin reduces dopamine firing, so you might also want to reduce the zyprexa since eps will be more likely in the combo. good luck.
Thats how i thought it would work synergistically.
I use Zyprexa as more of a tranquiliser anyway in the evenings. What did u mean by 'eps'? If u were implying episodes, which kind of episodes are more likely to occur. I experience 'eps' of different types.
I have little experience with how these meds are actually effecting my brain.
I want to take L-Tyrosine (and co factors) to assist the meds in doing their job. What am i actually doing here?
I am introducing Wellbutrin to help ease depressio n, i want to quit smoking again tho and its the only thing that helps me.
*i rarely incounter mania.
Thanx u seem like a professional? are u in the field?
