Have you spoken to your doctor about Prozac and Strattera being contraindicated?
You said in another post that your pdoc was licensed in 1955? I find that difficult to believe, since that would make him almost 80 years old. If he is, in fact, nearly 80 years old, perhaps getting a second opinion would be in your best interests?
Based on your own reports, I will certainly NOT recommend that you go back on stimulants. So, what are your options? Strattera is probably the best of them, kiddo -- and it sounds to me as though you're so focused on how horrible everything is, especially compared to stimulants, that you're not really giving it a chance. What's more, if the problem really is the interaction between Strattera and Prozac, then you need to get that one sorted out before you give up.
So, I know you have insurance through your mother. I know you live with your mother. I know your mother won't tolerate stimulants in her house. That's your reality right now -- learning to make the best of it until you are in a position to support yourself makes a lot of sense to me. Can you see another pdoc for a consult? Making it clear to your mother right from the start that you're not going to ask for stimulants? And making it clear to everyone concerned that you don't want your mother present during your appointments.
Also, I think you'd do very well to get into therapy. I know it's been said before, but I'll keep saying it.
Lastly -- as I see it, you've got a number of options here. You can address some of your symptoms through behavioral interventions. Learning to control them through behavioral interventions would probably do you more good than any drug on the market.
