The last time I smoked marijuana was about a couple of years ago. I never experienced panic attacks after using cannabis. SSRIs and other antidepressants (i.e. mirtazepine) frequently cause unacceptable side-effects which severely limit their effectiveness. I remember feeling a whole lot of weirdness with SRRIs, Wellbutrin, and mirtazepine. ADs are overrated, and they should not be advertised on TV. I have learned that prescription medications are not necessarily safe or effective. You're "mileage may vary" is a popular cliche in this forum and applies to this post.
The bottom line is that anti-depressant medications are severely overrated. Four weeks or longer is too long to expect relief of symptoms. It is no wonder Americans resort of marijuana.
