~~~ I'm thinking based on it being topically absorbed as opposed to GI absorption, probably is not going to effect drug properties when it comes to metabolism, appetite, satiety... etc. The difference is HOW it gets into the body, not what it's doing once it gets there. All the fat versus not stuff is a complex interplay with fair amount of that interplay's input guided in the brain.
In theory, the fact that perhaps lower dosing can be used (as the skin can be a good absorber for some meds) may have it's advantage as negative effects, in theory, may be diminished. That said, I still hold to the idea the brain is located at the top of the body for a reason. (Smile)
